Maurice,

I find your thoughts on Qualcomm quite fascinating. You obviously have followed this game for some time, and are extremely knowledgeable about the technical points.

While I would be ecstatic to see Q buy G*, and it is true that Q could inhale both Loral and G* on the exhale, I don't think such a scenario will play out. It is my take that Q will do everything in their power to keep the Company afloat (ie. w/ financing) but an acquistion is not in the cards because Q wants to be the "Intel" of the wireless revolution. Their aim is to promote CDMA chips, not be a satellite telephony wholesaler. (Or even retail, demonstarted by their spin off of LWIN)

Maurice, your comments as always are enlightening and thought-provoking. Isn't it great to know that the Big Q is behind G* ?! Globalstar WILL NOT FAIL. Qualcomm and other parties simply will not allow it.

Regards,
Charlie R.
