To all: though sentinment is largely negative about GIFS and it's management, it still seems strange to me that the State of TN waited until the day of the closing of CRIC to shut GIFS down when they clearly had all the information they puport to have long before the closing. What possible motivation could there be to wait? If it was truely to protect various litigants against GIFS then waiting until after the closing would have made more financial sense. Addressing regulatory issues could have been handled in a much more informal manner. Of course, if the sale of CRIC and existence of other assets is a sham, then they clearly waited much too long for my money. I guess we'll see tomorrow. Dave T.
