5. Tom Meredith to head up the venture capital group.
There are a lot of entities trying their hands at venture capital. I think it will be a losing proposition. Dell has to try something new to have growth-as the pc is dead.
But, it picks the hot areas for the new new thing-and so do a lot of others. It is risky. And dell is trading at a pe of 80. I have waited a long time for Dell to stop pulling rabbits out of hats. So far, to no avail.
