Dave -

the proliferation of technically competent people...an interesting statement...prompts some questions

Has there really been such a proliferation or has the proportion stayed relatively the same...with the overall increase in traders, are the competent traders just more noticeable (have increased proportionately)...can you really say that there are fewer incompetent traders?

Are you implying that there were not technically competent people before?

Who/what/when/how brought about the change/education?

If true is this driven by the natural learning curve/evolution or is it driven by specific events?

If newbies gravitated to scalping in the past and scalping is on the decline...what style are new traders more inclined to look to?

Respectfully,

Cormac
