Surely, though, you wouldn't suggest trading WITHOUT L2?

If nothing else, it's important to have L2 in order to determine the best routing for a trade.

Will that need go away, though, with SuperSOES? SNet will then be used only to buy above the offer or sell below the best bid.

(Aside - somebody actually hit my below-best bid on Friday on CNXT, and the stock DIDN'T go the wrong way on me! :) I guess somebody just WANTED OUT NOW and the size wasn't available at the best bid. So, they traded around the best bid and hit my 1000 share offer. The best bid held.)

When SuperSOES rolls-out, will we still be able to do direct routing to ECNs for marketable orders?
