OH Jesus man - Dont tell me I gotta play the mining stox again...

Well...I'm not about to say "Oh Jesus YES!", but there
are some encouraging signs out there. As you know,
when a sector begins to gain favour the generals of
that sector run first, followed by the soldiers. I'm
just watching for the bigger mining names to break
first.

It's off topic, but I still follow CD:CDNX as a proxy
for the speculative mining issues. I traded it back
in '95-'97 (as GXR) before the BXM meltdown. It's chart
looks pretty interesting to me. Whatever you want to
use as a proxy though, I think now is the time to start
tracking them again...before the prices move and all
these corrupt fund managers start blowing their horns
about the sector and dumping stock they've been accumulating
onto Joe Public. That's the way the game is played.

The worst case scenario is that all the mining issues
remain duds and continue to scope bottoms, but the
point is that the risk/reward ratio is pretty good here.
