"SoandSo has upgraded their investment rating on Someco from Accumulate to Buy" quit making stuff up as you go along. use real examples. they tend to lend more credibility to your argument <g3>. like this from briefing.com: 10:54 ET Summit Tech (BEAM) 10 1/2 -1/4 (-2%): Chase H&Q upgrades shares of laser vision correction systems designer from MARKET PERFORM to BUY. they upgraded the shares, did they not? anywhere does it mention that they upgraded the rating? i don't think so. upgrading the rating would be like, "well, we didn't think too much of the rating when we first issued it, but now we feel better about it!"
