Rocky - I've enjoyed reading your posts these past few months and think that several of the points you've brought up have real merit. What I can't understand is your seemingly endless concern with IOM's rising PE. O'Neill from IBD maintains that many of the better performing issues have inflated PEs. An interesting case in point is Altera - ALTR (see graph over past 50 months)

It's current PE is in the mid 40's but I can't help but wish I had bought it last year. Seems to me like it is in a similar business as a big chunk of it's income stems from proprietary licensing. Comments?
