Yaacov. CPQ and other PC makers. News out of Hamburg on Saturday: The first 3 months of 2000. Sales of PC's went up in Europe by 6 percent compared to the same period last year but profits were down by 4 percent. Price wars. Data provided by Dataquest.

CPQ lost market share from 16.2 to 14.1 and Fujitsu/Siemens also lost market share.

Dell and HWP gained market share.

So about your question: What are we going to do with our pain in the neck stocks: AOL, Dell and Msft? I guess we hold them? Dell is gaining market share, Msft will go up again and AOL will do alright once the merger is near or approved. So, all you have to do now is decide on CPQ. And you already decided on that. Long term holding.

Have a nice Sunday. You should be up by now while I will turn in.

Sonny
