You mean the shenanigans of the ADSL environment will turn us Amati bungee jumpers into yoyos? It's possible. However keep in mind Bill Frezza who wrote the "Dubious Dream" article is in the wireless business and perhaps he may be battle worn from the wireless industry. Remember wireless was the way to go in the LAN business since more than 10 years ago. It just never took off, and some people are still waiting and waiting. ATM almost had the same problem a few years ago. I still consider ISDN a failure that was temporarily saved by the internet in USA. ADSL is the solution for the telcos and they know it. They're just elephants that need a swift kick in the trousers. Peter Piper (your electronic plumber)
