Haim,

Another story from last week. My husband needed some clothes and we went to Brooks Brothers. They were selling their clothes at buy one item and get a same priced item for free. He picked up what he needed and when we went to pay they told him if he opened a credit account he could get 20% off. Believe it or not they took the 20% off the after taxes paid number. We opened the account and paid for the bill in cash. Things are either over priced to start with or the economy is slowing faster than we think. It is just nuts out there. <g>

I must sign up for all those credit cards that come in the mail and get an extra 1%. We get at least 5 of these offers in the snail mail every week. <g>

Joan
