Speaking of facts: ***INFO FOR NEW INVESTORS***

Here are the recent facts. I leave it to the reader to determine VLNC's merits unencumbered by my
point of view:

VLNC announces new Sales VP with extensive market sector background:
content.entrypoint.com
66d8465b1b&bid=1

VLNC announced in recent weeks three purchase orders:
biz.yahoo.com
biz.yahoo.com

biz.yahoo.com

VLNC?s joint partner in Korea, Hanil, announces commencement of lithium-polymer battery
production:

etnews.co.kr|07

And in late January, 2000, a trade publication confirms this:

southafricansources.com

CIBC announces coverage, with a buy recommendation:

biz.yahoo.com

A newspaper in Belfast, Ireland, the Belfast Telegraph, writes articles about VLNC:
Message 13539540

Message 13583044

An international newsletter, Taipan, has recently(May 2000 issue) come forwards with a positive
evaluation of VLNC potential:

taipanonline.com

Additionally; one of VLNC?s customers, satellite phone networker Globalstar, is announcing the
following coverage patterns within which their VLNC powered product will most probably be
available:
globalstar.com

Free Edgar for recent SEC filings. Please note these filings have been an accurate reflection of the
companies position to date:
freeedgar.com
5551&UseFrame=1&FormType=&DateFiled=&CompanyName=VALENCE+TECHNOLOGY+INC

Short holdings have increased by 70% in the past month, to just over 4.1 Million:

viwes.com

Institutional holdings jump from 8.4% to 18.8% in recent quarter, principally on the strength of one
investment house establishing a private placement position:
insidertrader.com

Note that VLNC has been a developmental stage company now transitioning, as proven by the
above publicly available news releases, to commercial enterprise. As such it now becomes a
question of whether management can meet run rates over the next year that they've committed to.
This is from a standing start of zero. Future earnings releases will prove, or deny, this aggressive
goal.
