Bob, Claude and others, Was curious if any of you have looked at Tenke's Vicuna project near Pascua, Veldero. Exploration is headed by Patricio Jones of Veldero fame so certainly a good pedigree (Lundin), that could raise the money. Capitalization is relatively modest (about US 11 million) and they would seem to have a value floor as they have a 10% carried interest in one the largest and lowest cost copper/cobalt projects in the world (Fungurume, unfortunately located in Rep. of Congo). Specifically I would be interested in your opinion of the soil sampling and trenching results to date: tenke.com My concern is that this just turns out to be another high capital cost, $175 cash cost deposit (like Brisas, Aldebaran, etc.) that needs $350 plus gold to make it. If it had low cost potential a la Pascua, this could be a real moonshot. Does Vicuna have that kind of possibilities?
