Funny you should mention Big Red. I thought of him yesterday when I saw "Freakin' Pegasus" and his baby photo. A horsewoman friend of mine was working in Lexington during Secretariat's heyday. She said he was the most beautiful horse she ever saw. Was still talking about him 15 years later. Seems like anyone who ever saw him in the flesh just never got over it. Also saw FP's owner. Looks like Japanese mafia. Aptitude was my sentimental fav. Just love anything Northern Dancer.
