Insofar as a comatose 13 dCCI is undesirable on the long side.......... When price makes a technical bounce to the upside, the 3 dCCI will go up...thereby establishing an uptrend. The 13 dCCI will go up. IF the 13 dCCI goes up comatose, a short play will be triggered as the 3 dCCI breaks below an identifiably significant immediate-term uptrend. Optimal short would likely see 3 dCCI on initial uptrend with no accelerations or possibly one acceleration. Doug R
