This site has links for various branches of the German government: dir.yahoo.com I printed out the article and plan to send it to my legislators. I cannot understand why our government fails to act when U.S. citizens are kidnapped. Sadly, it is probably too late to help Mr. Cooke. But if the U.S. and other governments put enough pressure on Germany and the other countries cited, perhaps these situations will be better handled in the future.
