Yes, I have been fundamentally bearish since July 98. I turned technically bullish on the tech stocks last October, while still remaining fundamentally bearish. At this point, I don't see any reason to be long most equities except for a possible hedge.
Gold is the buy here and equities are the hedge.
Stack is bright and presents a sound argument. I question his humility, however. It pays to be flexible and reverse your position when your wrong.
