Yours is a good post and a thread on Pharmacopeia is overdue. I would add the following correction, though: all combinatorial chemistry companies claim to "more rapidly synthesize" libraries than their compeitors can. PCOP's technology is very good, but not necessarily the "best" nor the "fastest". PCOP's major scientific selling point, to my mind, is their ability to deliver what they promise and their quality control. A major problem with some libraries from other companies is the compounds in the vials are not what the labels say they are -- I've never heard anyone complain about a PCOP library. In addition, they are not just making "me too" libraries-- they are making novel libraries (important for patent issues and finding really novel leads). From an investor's point of view, their business model is very attractive and they have top-flight people running the company.

I look forward to following the comments of others about this company.
