Beautiful Rudi, it was not a 'trick' question and, sadly, you failed. I will scope some clues for you. A semi fiction play and movie were written about a major episode in his life, with Frederick March playing the role of the man in question. When Silver Tongued Orator died, in real life, a few days after the episode, his adversary was told he died of a broken heart because the adversary made a monkey of him. The adversary corrected that statement, remarking, "No, he died of a busted belly." One more clue. STO was best known for his other appetite---political ambition---and his famous "Cross of Gold Speech" which impelled him into politics. Ironic? And the answer is...?

Do you want to ask a friend?

And now to sleep, perchance to dream.
