It seems to me you could simply have left some time ago without making such a mess first.
If Jill and Poet created this thread, and are putting in the daily effort to moderate and maintain it, it stands to reason (in my mind) they can do whatever they chose with it, and follow whatever direction they please.
By the same token, if you are convinced that both your expertise and the worth of the your time, effort, and posts is superior to theirs, aren't you perfectly free to create your own thread and "surpass" theirs with quality, rather than self-righteous, personal potshots?
Your grand exit speech seems both unnecessarily self-important and superfluous. If you don't like what you see here, just leave. And keep the sermon to yourself.
