I have three favorite Blue Chips: MMM. 3M. Minnesota Mining & Mfg. The Board just approved the spinoff of the data storage and imaging divisions effective June 28th. The spinoff, to be called Imation, had $2 billion in sales last year. This will be a very interesting company, having some technologies that show great promise, including the TL 120 (I think), which has been dubbed the Iomega Zip Drive Killer. For my money, its a superior product, and is what led me into buying MMM stock originally. The old MMM company will be left as a smaller company with a mere $9 billion in sales ('95 numbers). Oh, the quarterly dividend has been increased from 47 to 49 cents. And don't forget the Post-Its. Paul
