Rant Technology and Concurrent Computer Corporation to Offer Satellite
and
Terrestrial Content Distribution Solutions

ATLANTA, May 8, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) --

Concurrent and Rant Technology Establish Memorandum of Understanding

Concurrent Computer Corporation (Nasdaq:CCUR) and Rant Technology
announced
today that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in which they
agree to
integrate their products to develop end-to-end system solutions for
satellite
and terrestrial content distribution.

The companies' first project involves a joint bid in response to a cable
industry Request-for-Proposal for an Asset Distribution System.

"Combining our two companies' technological know-how presents unlimited
possibilities," said John Missale, President and CEO of Rant Technology.
"Concurrent has a great product that's been tested and deployed by major
MSOs;
together we'll have a powerful end-to-end solution for the industry," he
added.

Leveraging the technological strengths of the two companies makes for a
dynamic
partnership. Concurrent, a leader in the Video-On-Demand (VOD)
marketplace, will
integrate its MediaHawk Video Server with Rant's Digital Asset Management
System. Rant Technology, a pioneer in the field of multimedia management
consulting, is the first company to deliver a complete Digital Asset
Management
System for the CATV, advertising, broadcast, film, Internet, and
publishing
industries. The system combines archiving, cataloging, tracking, and
distribution capabilities with powerful reporting tools.
