News released today - new customer - Saab Aircraft to market and sell spare parts with PRTS:

Saab Aircraft to Use PartsBase.com to Market and Sell Spare Parts

BOCA RATON, Fla., May 8 /PRNewswire/ -- PartsBase.com Inc. (Nasdaq: PRTS) and Saab Aircraft of Linkoping, Sweden, announced today that it has loaded a portion of its spare parts inventory for the Saab340 and Saab2000 regional aircraft in the PartsBase.com electronic marketplace. The inventory represents new and refurbished components intended for use by regional airlines, maintenance facilities, and parts brokers. Saab will be utilizing PartsBase.com as an additional distribution channel in conjunction with its own corporate web site and traditional spare parts organization.

"PartsBase.com allows us to make our inventory available, via the Internet, to PartsBase's large community. We believe this approach is the fastest and most economical way for Saab Aircraft to set up an additional Internet-based distribution channel for our spare parts," said Leif Nyberg, Director, Customer Support Services, Saab Aircraft. "After we are successful with this new medium, we will be interested in experimenting with the auction features of the site," he added.

"PartsBase.com makes sense for Saab. They are trying to provide spare parts support to a large but fragmented customer base. Our site provides the neutrality and critical mass needed for a successful exchange. It allows Saab to develop an additional distribution channel without incurring the expenses of building its own website," said Vernell Burris, Senior VP of Sales, PartsBase.com.
