Libya: National Oil Corporation Sets Date for Talks

TRIPOLI, May 8 (energy24.com) - Libya has announced that it will be hold meetings during this week with 50 companies from around the world, in an effort to ease the process by which they can invest in the state.

Libyan company, National Oil Corporation is to set the terms and conditions of 80 up-and-coming contracts for the production and exploration opportunities available to the international energy companies.

Foreign companies are now able to return to Libya following the suspension of trade sanctions last year. However, the legislation for the return of the various oil companies has not yet been completed by the government.
