Wayne - Good call on the show price for FP. Did you play it? I never go for show myself, betting place only when the odds are very high. FP, I thought, showed his mettle by coming from far behind, contrary to his usual style. You like a good horse to run his race no matter the circumstances, don't you? The chart says he went seven wide around the last turn with Aptitude outside of him. I think that accounts for the slower final time.
Much lower odds on each in the Preakness, of course. I played FP in the exacta with four others, including Aptitude. I think the price was surprisingly good. More Than Ready hanging on best of the front runners (one of my four) hints again of being a very good horse at shorter distances. R
