Yes, but it also relates to the need for risk vs. taking unneeded risk. The point that I was trying to make was that now may not be the time to take risks unless you need to take them. It is hard to say how the market will react to Fed action on the 16th, not to mention that we have no clear sense as to what that action will ultimately be.

If you need the profits, then you have needs that justify the risk. If you do not need the profits right now, then why take the risk.

I'm playing everything long right now, and staying away from writing options.
