Details such as the price Cisco would offer per ArrowPoint share were revealed before the announcement, suggesting that the news might have been leaked. ArrowPoint shares jumped 27 percent on Thursday, the day before the announcement, the paper said. Cisco agreed to buy ArrowPoint, an Internet switch maker that went public five weeks ago, for about $6.08 billion in stock to add advanced equipment to manage Web traffic.
