Wayne, things have quieted down enough that I finally found some time to check out the MB neighborhood. I came to similar conclusions about the Derby and put a small wager on Anees. However, when I got home later and saw the early odds on Fusaichi Pegasus at 3-1 I made a fairly hefty bet on him and was happy with the $6.60. His Wood and Derby races lead me to believe that only injury or bad racing luck will keep him from the Triple Crown. However, I'm sure the odds will preclude me from trying him straight again. BTW, I might be going to Belmont the day before the big race to meet some characters from KY. Let me know if you're interested and I'll tell you where we'll be meeting.
