<<New York, May 8 (Bloomberg) -- Globalstar Telecommunications Ltd., a satellite-phone company that could run out of cash in about five months .......>>

What a way to lead in a story. Any company residing on the face of this planet "could" run out of cash in the next five months. Sigh!!! This is becoming wearisome.

<<Globalstar, which said it will rely on revenue from its
service and funding from partners, isn't selling handsets at a profitable pace, Kidd said.>>

I didn't realize the sale of handsets by GlobalStar was intended to be viewed as a primary source of revenue at this point. Perhaps I have a gross misunderstanding of the business model.

Thanks for posting the article, Ruffian.
