His covenants are everlasting. If they weren't than how could we trust that the blood covenant of Jesus would last even for us...Because WE HAVE HIS WORD....As do the patriarchs of the OT...Though they too must come in by the blood of the Lamb....No one has ever said that they could go "another way"...there is no "other way" Just as their forefatheres did also come in by that same blood when Jesus confronted them after Hid death, before His resurrection....1 Peter 3:19....But those who say that the old covevant is dead and buried are in grave error. They know not the truth of God's word.
Rom 11:1-5
1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,
3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
Our Lord Jesus Himself made the old covenant a part of the new. He continually quoted many of the patriarch and prophets of old.
Not to mention Pauls rebuke, to those who would say that God has now forgotten His covenant to His people...
Rom 11:26-36
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is WRITTEN.. There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is MY COVENANT unto them, when I SHALL take away their sins.
28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are BELOVED for the fathers' sakes.
29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?
35 Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
Inspite of all her rebellious ways Israel,( a symbolic name of Jacob also his posterity, The descendants from one ancestor)..Thus saith the Lord God:
Ezek 16:60-63
60 Nevertheless I will remember my covenant with thee in the days of thy youth, and I will establish unto thee an everlasting covenant.
61 Then thou shalt remember thy ways, and be ashamed, when thou shalt receive thy sisters, thine elder and thy younger: and I will give them unto thee for daughters, but not by thy covenant.
62 And I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD:
63 That thou mayest remember, and be confounded, and never open thy mouth any more because of thy shame, when I am pacified toward thee for all that thou hast done, saith the Lord GOD.
Zech 2:12-13
12 And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.
13 Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.
Ps 121:4
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep

BTW Much of Daniel, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Hosea, Amos etc, etc, etc, has not yet come to pass...the only thing that is dead is the spirit of those who have already judged the old covenant to be dead...May the truth of God circumcise their hearts and may the word of man be cast from their hearing....Thank you Father
