Infowave signs worldwide reseller agreement with Compaq
BURNABY, BC, May 8 /CNW-PRN/ - Infowave Software, Inc. (TSE: IW - news) today announced that it has signed an international reseller agreement with Compaq Computer Corp. (NYSE: CPQ - news). Under the terms of the agreement, Compaq will resell, distribute and integrate Infowave's wireless enterprise software to its worldwide customer base. This agreement enables Compaq Services to deliver integration services for Infowave for Exchange and Infowave for the Net to customers.

This worldwide reseller agreement is Infowave's third major announcement with Compaq. Compaq recently selected Infowave for its elite Business Solutions for Exchange (BSE) program. The Compaq BSE program selects best in class software vendors to deliver end-to-end business solution for Microsoft Exchange. As part of this program, Infowave has been selected to participate in Compaq's Exchange 2000 roadshow covering select cities worldwide. Infowave has also recently teamed up with Compaq and Sierra Wireless to deliver a wireless solution for the Compaq iPAQ Pocket PC. This iPAQ solution provides wireless access to Microsoft Exchange, web-based applications, corporate Intranets and the Internet.
