Cobalt, I am not the sharpest knife in the drawer when it comes to analyzing technologies because I don't have the necessary background to assess which technologies are superior.

Just looking at how rapidly the internet has evolved in the last five years, we would all agree technology has and continues to evolve swiftly and there will continue to be better, more efficient, and faster technologies developed over the next few years.

It would then seem most reasonable for Gilder to "drop" some companies from his list only to be replaced with companies that have developed a newer and more superior technology.

Are you saying that recommending and then dropping a company from the Gilder list is pump and dump? If so, what is the time frame a recommend and drop would have to occur to qualify as a pump and dump in your opinion?

I do agree with you that everyone should check their facts. As an example, if Pat had taken the time to check out the Gilder site or this board's posts to verify the price of a Gilder subscription, she would have avoided posting erroneous info.

That's my reading of the tea leaves, and I suspect others may have different thoughts after studying the bottom of their teacup.

Regards,

Merylee
