Cane fields, factories, no choice in work, no freedom, low standard of living--all standard fare for children in Peru, Paraguay, Guatemala, Colombia, Thailand, rural India, Madagascar, Bangaladesh, Nigeria, Morocco.....
There are hundreds of millions of children living in those countries. Are you prepared to advocate that they all be brought to the United States? Why not?
Regardless of what happens to Elian, since you care so much about children, what part of your spare time and wealth will you devote henceforth to saving the children in these other countries???? |
