Chic, IBM's a big company (duh), and has a lot of processor lines. An SMP board for Itanium is, well, an SMP board for Itanium. It's covering one base, and unless there's a really big announcement coming up, it doesn't indicate a definitive top level direction for the company. IBM bought Sequent for something like $1billion, which is pretty small change on IBM's scale of operation. Keep us posted, though, maybe there is a big announcement coming up. Cheers, Dan.
