And for those who doubt the veracity of Iomega's management I have the
following observations:

Over the past few years companies have learned that total openness and
quick response to make customers whole is the best way to handle damage control. It would be a dull management not to heed this lesson.

BTW: It is easy to find rumors of technical and manufacturing problems on any company in the public eye. Sometimes they are even true. Any company pushing the envelope better have problems now and
then, otherwise they are not pushing hard enough. More often than not, these problems are fixed quickly - often with an attending im-
provement in quality and/or manufacturing yield.

I'd appreciate the opinion of anyone actually working in high tech manufacturing.
