Cowpland will go on trial for insider trading: pumping the stock with false and misleading statements, dumping shares into a bogus rally then releasing the bad financial news long after selling. Now we have Inprise investors stating that Cowpland mislead them, overstated the value of Corel then released the bad financial news, after the fact. The prize this time was a company with $200 million in cash to save Corel and Cowpland's job along with it. I don't see what's different about this and the securities violations currently pending against him. Gee, are these guys involved in a personal vendetta as the "plant" would have you believe of me? --> "Some of the Inprise opposition wants the merger off altogether, citing many of the same Corel criticisms leveled by market observers over the years, including bad management, shifting strategies and a generally poor image on Wall Street.
