Polvie "The recent strength behind this board" and such a special person. The porch was truly blessed when one of the angels brought you to this board...........What a difference you've made in my/our lives...... A lot of folks don't know how you have influenced this board since you have been here and there are a lot of the folks that do. A lot of folks that do. You know just the right thing to do and when to do it, just the right thing to say and when to say it. You do not waste words. I do believe that the post I am responding to is the first time I remember you doing that. :^) I get much to much credit for the little things that I do around here.....behind this woman is a constant strength of support and that strength of support has been you. I thank you publicly for that support. A couple of things that stand out so vividly in my mind are as follows: 1. After you and I both lost a sizeable amount of our portfolio I contacted you and without hesitation you said, "There are more important things than money." 2. Again this week in a similar situation you made the statement, "The best things in life are free." Polvie these are the things that have helped me keep my chin up and to continue on as if the market is on a bull run. You have never once whimpered nor made a negative comment about the market and our losses. The closest you came to a comment was "This is what builds character!" Wow! That is the stuff you are made of. I also thank you for the love you have shown not only to me but others on this board. If folks only knew, someday maybe they will. Often I tell you not to answer my post because I am aware that you are working on overload as you were last night. Still you are up until the wee hours of this morning dishing out more of your encouraging words and sharing the love that just pours out from within you. Oh, to be like you. I just thought where would this "Ole Porch" be if polvie had not been lead to grace it. I can say one thing for sure..... "This ole Porch would have been a much different place". Thank you for being there....you are very special to me. I hope all your dreams come true! Why? Because dog-gone-it you deserve it. Love, dealie
