allowing the people to direct some of the investment.
How is this going to work? Is this going to be a compulsary self directed IRA? Most people I know already direct some investments that go toward their retirement through IRAs, 401Ks, and other means. It seems like Bush Jr. is just calling for 2% more of the total investment to be moved from the core guarenteed account to a more speculative account. He would get low marks as a financial planner.
