It's all odds. There's a chance that I'll die sitting right here in front of my computer. The odds are better that it will be plane and not a bus that does the damage, however. Tree, maybe? Lightning? Electrocuted by my refrigerator? Bleed to death by suffering a terminal cut to the thumb from opening a twist top beer? The odds change, of course, when I go outside. I'm staying home today.
