Safe Environment successful concrete anchor results

Safe Environment Engineering Canada Inc SFU
Shares issued 22,184,300 May 8 close $0.08
Tue 9 May 2000 News Release
Mr. W.T. Styffe reports
The company has received successful preliminary results from pullout
testing of its A-1 concrete anchors. As per the company's news release in
Stockwatch April 17, 2000, initial tests were performed by Intertek Testing
Services NA Ltd. (Warnock Hersey) with results of testing evaluated by the
Glotman Simpson Engineering Group. Glotman Simpson is retained by the
company to apply its structural engineering consulting services for the
evaluation of the company's unique line of cast-in-place concrete anchors.
Favourable test results indicate regulatory approvals for the anchors can
be expected this year.
The engineering project leader, Ed Theissen, PEng, stated, "Safe
Environment's anchor has a pullout capacity which compares favourably to
conventional drilled concrete anchors of the same diameter." Company
president, Richard Watson, stated, "Results achieved, indicate the goal
will be met of providing the construction industry with one of the most
cost-effective, regulatory-approved, concrete anchor systems available."
Mr. Watson estimates further anchor testing, evaluation and subsequent
approval by the ICBO (International Conference of Building Officials) could
be complete by the middle of the fourth quarter of this year.
WARNING: The company relies upon litigation protection for
"forward-looking" statements.
