I have two stocks up QCOM, and NEXL, I know why NEXL is up, but why QCOM?

I have an idea. I believe a Japanese wireless operator was going to make a decision between W-CDMA or cdma2000 this week. Last week there was a rumor that DDI picked cdma2000 but later denied. Official announcement is this week, I believe. It may not be that significant but it may be enough to move the stock today.
