This stock has been a very poor performer since your post. Largely to do with change over of CEO, also being a former monopoly is somewhat tied to government's wishes and desires. I think the best thing for Telstra is for it to fully privatise, secondly it needs a better international strategy if it wants to counter domestic market share erosion resulting from liberalisation.

Oh well, at least it pays strong dividends.
