Benkea, the famous non-recurring items that recur every other quarter...note also the dilution. and there's more where that came from, i'm sure. as Tim has mentioned on the clown thread, the important thing is that finally CSCO's accounting is receiving increasing attention at all. so far the proponents of buying the most generously valued of all the big caps could simply justify their support by re-iterating "it's a great company". i have heard that comment at least 10 times over the past 24 hours on TV. well, it's true, it is a great company. but is it worth 180 times earnings? all historical evidence points to the fact that buying the stock of a mature company at such a high valuation proved to be a poor long term investment decision. so unless "it's different this time"....:) regards, hb
