TIBCO is a strategic infrastructure player. It provides architectural and business value in near zero latency environments. Aside from E-commerce (B2C, B2B exchanges), TIBCO will be a formidable player in enterprise business integration, m-commerce, and l-commerce (location-based). Their client list, business partnerships, and execution style look very impressive. They've impresssive applications in the wireless and biotech space. Gartner thinks very highly of TIBCO. They've placed TIBCO in the "Leaders" category. The rationale used include: ability to execute, and completeness of vision. Additionally, Value Line, couple of weeks ago discussed TIBCO. I'd like TIBCO to leverage its capabilities and successes (especially in finance and process-intensive space) to other sectors of the new economy such as health-care/e-health.
