Nortel Poised to Fall, Analyst Says: Call of the Day (Update1)

Toronto, May 9 (Bloomberg) -- Canada's biggest technology
company is experiencing technical difficulties, according to David
Chapman of Westminster Securities Inc.

There's nothing faulty with Nortel Networks Corp.'s fiber-
optic equipment, which has helped make it the country's largest
company, Chapman said. Rather, it's the stock's inability to climb
above C$90 ($60) during the last five weeks, despite making five
runs at it, that has technical investors and analysts concerned.

Nortel closing below C$80 ``should trigger a waterfall,''
Chapman, 53, said. ``How's that for a call? Sell Nortel.'' ...
