Gottfried, I never procrastinate on putting off stuff until later. <g> Yeah, it's always better to drive with windows to see out of, but I'm less confident we'll get a "simple" exit indicator any time soon. My first-pass inspection of the MSI for each size wafer (which is highly correlated to equip sales) doesn't seem to give the desired info. You're right in that I think it will require a 2- or 3-variable indicator, and those are always a bit tricky to interpret. It's never as easy as we minimalists would like. Nice chart! I'll study it some more before saying anything detailed. Mitch PS Yes, I didn't think the Feb number was significant in any way other than seasonal. March will be the clue. And I think AMAT reports mana¤a, eh? M
