Thanks for the info on DRAM, Brian. It's pretty much the party line now that SDRAM, and fast video RAM (which is also made on the same production lines), will be in short supply the latter half of this year. Just in time for the 1 GHz comps to come out for Christmas! We might even see DRAM prices go up 2x-3x for a very short time. (Okay, I said MIGHT. <g>) Sorta like the way the NASDAQ went up; remember that? =8-0

I'm confused a little bit, still; seems not everybody's got their inventory numbers quite right. Did you look at that recent Contrarian article here on SI? If he's right, then there's a Major Gap between Reality and what the DRAM makers are saying.

In any case, I just bought 128MBytes for my wife's home computer, just in case. Prices at the vendor are trending up already....
