heinz: "Benkea, what difference does splitting the stock make?" I figured everyone knew me well enough that my commentary re: the total absurdity of that quote was unnecessary :-) His "logic", while wholly unstated, was that "a penny" in % terms is harder to beat by when you split the stock. ie: estimate .10 beat by a penny or 10%. Split the stock, estimate is .05 beat by a penny or 20%. I still thought it was a funny quote even if the author wasn't meaning to sound as totally ignorant as he did.
