Postcard from Bali!

Bali is fabulous. Every morning the Hindu women, dressed n sarongs, looking like mermaids, place little offerings in baskets woven of palm leaf in front of all the multitudinous
home temples, and along the shore line, and in front of the doorways. They sprinkle them with sandalwood and Ylang Ylang, which I just happen to love <g> and put a candy, a bit of rice, a few flower petals, a couple sticks of incense. So sometimes I am cruising the beach and turn a curve and there is incense burning, and not a soul about.
Tiny open clamshells like coloured butterflies inlay the fluffy coral beach sand. The sea is the deepest bluegreen imaginable. The tropical flowers are intensely sweet. I feel high all the time.

No ime to spellcheck, the beach is calling.

Newsflash! Newsflash! I am neither drunk nor hungover. I swear it. I did partake in the local venom Arak, and it was a lesson unto itself. I guess I had an Arak Attack. My husband left Monday, but I stayed on for another week.... or so... <g> Hey could you PM me when the market turns? I might come back.
