Since im playing with limit funds, I rarely hold any position for more than a week or 2.. I dont like to day trade, but I also HATE long term investing.. I buy/sell in safe quantities, and take modest gains/loses..

STMP I keep shorting only because its been my most profitable short since Tony started calling it ages ago.. I keep taking 2-3 points and than backing away for a month..

Sorta like my zixi short.. no matter how or when I hit that stock short I always lose.. and even tho I manage my money properly and the loses are small, it gets me all worked up so I have to avoid it..

I now believe that unless you have huge amounts of cash to sit in these positions for years such as Tony or other deep pocketed S/I folk, you really would have to be crazy to try and take long term positions and expect to come out a winner consistently.. ever since my 100% allocation (and than some) on ADSP, I have practiced money management on every single trade I have made since that horrible experience.. wether im long or short GE or IBM, or a turd like STMP.. dosnt matter.. When I take a position I expect the lose to be reality, and thus its dealable.. I owe Tony more than I can ever pay him for the advice he gave regarding money management.. Everyone spends so much time dwelling on his trades, but his real secret I believe is his calculating personality that makes every attempt to take away the gamble in all of this..
